For machining bosses or seating
surfaces - or for boring operations where the entire head can enter a hole - Criterion
offers this SL series holder. These slotted holders are interchangeable with our standard
bar holders and can be fitted to the DBL-202, 203 and 204 series bodies. Shanks and
adapters for these heads are in the Shanks and Adapters section. The SL-202 has a 7/8-20
threaded back while both the SL-203 and the SL-204 have a 1-1/2-18 threaded back.
These heads are also available mounted onto standard Cri-Bore bodies. This set-up provides the maximum amount of bearing surface between the body and the shank when using "V" flange or BT shanks.
