CB3-BD-TP
The CB3-BD-TP consists of a CB3-TP Insert Holder, a CB3-BD Body, and a dial screw. The
Insert Holder takes a .375 I.C. insert. The Body contains a direct-reading dial screw
graduated in increments of one thousandth (.001) of an inch with an offset range of
1". A1-1/2-18 threaded back accepts a wide variety of shanks, as well as a 3 and a 6
inch long intermediate adapter.

Min./Max. Bores are based on the tool turning around its own centerline when using a .015 radius insert.
CB3-BD-TP-TA
The CB3-BD-TP-TA consists of a CB3-TP-TA Insert Holder, a CB3-BD Body, and a dial screw.
The Insert Holder features a direct-reading dial screw graduated in increments of one ten
thousandth (.0001) of an inch. The dial screw travel is .003 or .006 on the bore. The dial
screw in the body is also direct- reading and is graduated in thousandths - with an offset
range of 1". It takes the same shanks and adapters as does the CB3-BD-TP.

Available with the CB3-BD-TP and the CB3-BD-TP-TA CRI-BORE unit are two Intermediate Adapters, one measuring 3 inches in length and the other is 6 inches. By using them singly, or in combination, a wide range of depths of bore may be obtained. This practical system establishes bar length as required rather than being committed to a boring bar of exceptional length to bore a shallow hole.
