Crosshole Boring Bars
For extending the boring diameter of out DBL series boring heads, we suggest the use of these Crosshole Boring Bars. The bars are made from premium head treated alloy steel and have four flats with a shank that is cylindrically ground to a tolerance of .0005. The bars use standard 80° profiling insert. Specifications for such inserts are found in the Cri-Twin Dual Insert Boring System section.

*Max bore diameter listed above is based upon at least two of the three crosshole set screws being used to lock the bar in position.

Sleeve Adapters
| Made of hardened and ground alloy steel, these adapters may be used wherever tool shank diameters are smaller than the hole sizes of the boring head bar holder. | ![]() |

Threaded Adapter
| Where an increase in thread size is required -- 7/8-20 TO 1-1/2-18, Criterion has made this threaded adapter available. Both the I.D. and O.D. threads are machined to the same accuracy as found on the boring heads and shanks. |
