Metric Shanks, Sleeve Adapters & Cross Hole Boring Bars

All Criterion shanks are ground between centers to ensure concentricity, and are manufactured from premium alloy steels per the DIN 69871-A and MAS 403 BT specifications.

Our sleeve adapters are manufactured from premium alloy steel, hardened and ground to ensure long life and accuracy. These adapters allow the operator to use a variety of shank diameter tools with any Criterion boring head.

Our cross hole boring bars are produced to be used in the cross hole of our "DBL" style boring heads and 76F-HBMD boring and facing head. These bars allow you to maximize the boring range of the Criterion boring heads. Made from premium alloy steel and heat treated for toughness, the bars have a 60º and a 90º hole which accept standard 4, 7 or 8 mm diameter tool bits.
