Balance Kit
The Criterion 202B Balance Kit was developed to allow Criterion's 202B style boring heads to operate at speeds up to 5,000 RPM. The kit is designed around our TA boring bars. A series of 6 shafts and 4 weights give all of the imbalance correction needed to run your 202B style boring heads at speeds up to 5,000 RPM.
You simply locate your bore size on the range column for the TA boring bar you are using, select the correct shaft and weight, install them per the directions and you are ready to run your 202B boring head. It does not matter whether the head is at its minimum bore or maximum bore setting with the correct shaft and weight(s) installed it can be run up to 5,000 RPM.
